2 Beginner's classes and a now a third class on Tuesdays for those with some experience of yoga. The Beginner's class is suitable for you if you want to get back into yoga after a break or looking to start your yoga journey from scratch. As well as teaching asanas (yoga poses) and alignment, these classes also focus on the principles and philosophy of yoga.

The Old School Studio (formerly West Cornwall Inner Space) is a lovely, large and light studio in Newlyn. It's in a beautiful setting just above Newlyn harbour and fishing port. Plenty of room, mats and props and a toasty space in the chillier months!

Cancellation Policy
You can cancel your place on my private classes up to 4 hours before the class. If later than this or are a no show you will lose that class from your pass.
In 2018 I began Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training at Falmouth Yoga Space in Falmouth, Cornwall. https://falmouthyogaspace.co.uk An amazing experience that opened up a whole new chapter in my life.
In 2019 I completed the 250 hours, level 1, Vinyasa Yoga teacher training programme that gave me an in depth understanding of yoga poses, yoga breathing, meditation, anatomy and physiology.
In 2019 I also completed an 80 hours, level 2, Restorative Yoga teacher training at Falmouth Yoga Space. See below for more information on this relaxing and restful practice.
Between 2021 and 2022 I completed 100 hours Yin Yoga teacher training with Grace Tempany. https://gracetempany.com More information below.
In May 2023 I took part in a 44 hours Yoga for Menopause teacher training with Niamh Daly at www.yinstinctyoga.com learning how yoga can support women through the stages of menopause and beyond.
In November 2023, I also did Niamh's Yoga for Bone Health teacher training which has provided me with a better awareness of bone health as we age and has helped me to teach my yoga classes in a way that is more protective for my students.
This is a style of yoga that aligns the breath with flowing movement from one yoga pose to the next. My style of vinyasa is Slow Flow which is a gentler pace of vinyasa yoga. I usually theme my yoga classes classes on an aspect of yoga philosophy and focus the practice on one area of the body i.e. hips, shoulders, core etc., helping you to build strength, flexibility and mobility in these areas. My classes also focus on pranayama and breath awareness and will always be the starting point for the class.
The Restorative class today was exactly what I needed. I had a headache, my shoulder muscles were so stiff that stretching hurt and my whole body felt a bit drained. All gone after your class. Thank you. Stephanie, Netherlands

Sandra is friendly and her sessions are fun and set at a level to include all ages. Irrespective of ability she encourages everyone in a calm, positive and gentle way.

I love Sandra's Beginners Yoga at the Grove. The classes are light- hearted, friendly and well structured. Sandra pays great attention to detail, allowing us to move correctly within our limits, gradually increasing our strength and flexibility. Sandra's online classes are so great! They are easy to follow yet challenging enough. She explains all the asanas, talks you through it and shows them clearly so you can make sure you do them in the right manner. The classes help me to stay in the flow and are a good variation to my own practice. And even though we see each other through a screen, there is a group feeling which makes it so enjoyable in these times. Besides it's fun to be able to join from another country (Netherlands) 😉 I really hope you will keep giving classes and there will be a time when I'll join a live class 😉
