Apart from air, food and water, some of the other core basics we need to survive are health (physical and emotional), sleep, security, connection with others, to feel in control, to give and receive attention and to have opportunities to grow.
How many times per day would you say you think about these?
How do you feel when you think about them?
What action do you usually take based on these thoughts and feelings?
I can guarantee you (because research has proven it) that you will have thoughts and feelings about most of these basic human needs hundreds of times every day, even if you don't realise it.
And I can (probably) guarantee you that your actions and behaviour based on those thoughts and feelings are not benefitting you in the way you would like. That's why you're here right?
You see, thinking automatically creates feelings. Feelings drive your actions and your behaviour. Your actions and behaviour determine what your life looks like on a day to day basis.
So, if your thoughts are not good ones, your feelings won't be good ones and so it follows that your actions and your behaviour won't be good either.
